TERMS AND REGULATIONS FOR CINEMA CITY ROMANIA GIFT VOUCHERS

1. DEFINITIONS

a.  GIFT VOUCHERS PUBLISHER: Cinema City Romania S.R.L., a Romanian limited liability company, having its registered office in Str. Dr. Alexandru Boicescu nr. 10A, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania, registered with the Bucharest Trade Register under no. J40/16742/2006, having the Sole Registration Code RO19123195,  website address: www.cinemacity.ro  (hereinafter referred to as the Website), email address: [email protected], also referred to as CINEMA CITY,

b. CINEMA/ CINEMAS – refers to Cinema City Romania multiplexes, including the special format halls such as: T IMAX, 4DX and VIP. Multiplexes LOCATIONS are as follows: Cinema City Arad Atrium, Cinema City Bacău, Cinema City Baia Mare VIVO!, Cinema City Brăila Shopping City, Cinema City Brașov AFI, Cinema City Buzău, Cinema City Bucuresti AFI Cotroceni, Cinema City Bucuresti Mega Mall, Cinema City Bucuresti Sun Plaza, Cinema City Bucuresti ParkLake, Cinema City Deva, Cinema City Galați, Cinema City Cluj Iulius Mall, Cinema City Cluj VIVO!, Cinema City Constanța VIVO!, Cinema City Constanta City Park, Cinema City Iaşi Iulius Mall, Cinema City Piteşti VIVO!, Cinema City Ploieşti Shopping City, Cinema City Ploieşti AFI, Cinema City Piatra Neamt, Cinema City Râmnicu Vâlcea,  Cinema City Suceava Iulius Mall, Cinema City Severin Shopping City, Cinema City Târgu Mureș, Cinema City Targu Jiu Shopping City, Cinema City Timişoara Iulius Mall, Cinema City Timisoara Shopping City.

c. GIFT VOUCHER  –  Gift Voucher in the form of a bearer voucher which gives the User the right to use it in exchange for a Ticket at the Cinema City or through the service at www.cinemacity.ro , access to screenings is exclusively permitted based on the issued Ticket. Every Gift Voucher bears a unique code.

 d. USER – Every Voucher owner.

 e. TICKET – document certifying the right to participate in a movie screening at the Cinema City Romania multiplexes.

 f. WEBSITE – Gift Vouchers Publisher’s web page: www.cinemacity.ro 

GENERAL TERMS

Through the acquisition and use of the Voucher, the Voucher User declares that he/she has read these regulations, understands their text, does not object to any of their content, and undertakes to follow them.
Gift Vouchers can be purchased at the box office of every Cinema City Romania multiplex chain.
Cinema City reserves the right to sell other type of vouchers whose application scope shall be described in separate regulations.

Before the screening, the Voucher must be exchanged for Tickets:

At the Cinema City box office or on the Website (all Vouchers include the service fee for the online purchase of Tickets).

Once having exchanged the Voucher for a Ticket, the Ticket cannot be returned or exchanged.

The basis for using the Voucher is its code, which is why the User should protect the Voucher code and not share it with third parties in the form of, for example, a photo. In case the Voucher code is illegible or has been previously used (and such event has been registered in the system), the Voucher shall not be accepted by the Cinema City customer service.

Having the Voucher does not guarantee the possibility of purchasing a Ticket for a given screening. CITY

CINEMA CITY ROMANIA GIFT VOUCHERS

Cinema City Gift Vouchers are sold at cinemas’ box office and online at www.cinemacity.ro, on the Gift Vouchers page, and are of several types and can vary depending on:

(i) the region in which they can be used, as follows:

"Gift Vouchers - Region 1 (Bucharest)" can be redeemed by the User in the entire Cinema City Romania network.

"Gift vouchers - Region 2 (Cluj Iulius, Iași, Timișoara)" can be redeemed by the User in the entire Cinema City Romania network, except those in Bucharest.

"Gift vouchers - Region 3 (Country)" can be redeemed by the User in the entire Cinema City Romania network, except those in Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Timisoara, Brasov.

"Gift vouchers - Region 4 (Brasov)" are valid exclusively in Brasov.

"Gift vouchers - Region 5 (Baia Mare)" are valid exclusively in Baia Mare.
(ii) the number of tickets, formats or services included in the voucher, as detailed below: "Types of Gift Vouchers available in the Cinema City offer:"

GIFT VOUCHER DETAILS:

Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the acquisition date in the Cinema City Romania network, with the exception of DE ZECE vouchers, which are valid for 12 months from the acquisition date and can be used in Cinema City cinemas in Romania, as per the information above. Extending the validity period of vouchers is not possible.

Regardless of the type of Gift Voucher purchased, the User has the option to access other formats, regions with different price plans, for an additional cost. However, Gift Vouchers cannot be used for the acquisition of tickets to screenings and special events, such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Movie Marathons, Valentine's Day, Woman's Day, Kids Day, Halloween Day and/or to Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.

Vouchers can be purchased in physical format, on cardboard or plastic, at all Cinema City Romania locations, each containing a Unique Identification Code.

TYPES OF GIFT VOUCHERS AVAILABLE IN THE CINEMA CITY OFFER:

1. GIFT VOUCHERS - REGION 1 (BUCHAREST)

• Gift vouchers - available at ticket offices in the network
  • Voucher Cadou FILM 2D / 2D FILM Gift Voucher (1 2D ticket): the gift voucher can be redeemed for a movie ticket to any 2D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below, is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network and can be redeemed online or at the box office. The Voucher can be used as well for the 3D, IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings in exchange for an additional charge according to the selected format. This Voucher cannot be used for the acquisition of tickets to screenings and special events, such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc.  This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher Cadou FILM 3D / 3D FILM GIFT VOUCHER (1 3D ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for a ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. The gift voucher is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network and can be redeemed online or at the box office. The voucher can also be used for IMAX, 4DX and VIP screening in exchange for an additional charge according to the selected format. This Voucher cannot be used for the acquisition of tickets to screenings and special events, such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher DUET / DUET Voucher (2 3D tickets + 1 Duet menu): the gift voucher can be exchanged for 2 tickets to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, and a duet popcorn menu. The gift voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase throughout the Cinema City Romania network. Tickets can be redeemed at the box office or online and the popcorn menu at the cinema bar. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. The voucher can also be used for IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings, at an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher DE ZECE / TEN Voucher (10 2D tickets): The gift voucher can be redeemed for tickets to any 2D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below, up to a limit of 4 tickets used on the same day. The gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City Romania network. Tickets can be redeemed at ticket offices. The voucher can also be used for IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings, paying an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher IMAX 3D / IMAX 3D voucher (1 IMAX 3D ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for an IMAX ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in IMAX theatres in Cinema City AFI Cotroceni and Timisoara Shopping City. Tickets can be redeemed at ticket offices or online. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher 4DX 3D / 4DX 3D voucher (1 4DX 3D ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for a 4DX ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in the 4DX theatres of Cinema City Mega Mall Bucharest, Timișoara Shopping City, Brăila, Constanta City Park, Brașov and Cluj Iulius. Tickets can be redeemed at ticket offices or online. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher VIP 3D / 3D VIP Voucher (2 3D VIP tickets): the gift voucher can be exchanged for 2 VIP tickets to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in the VIP rooms of Cinema City AFI Cotroceni and ParkLake. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. Access to the VIP lounges is 30 minutes before the start of the screenings and includes VIP service for 2 people. For details on the VIP menu ("all inclusive" in ParkLake and Light in AFI Cotroceni), please visit the VIP section of the Website. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Valentine's Day, Woman's Day, Kids Day, Halloween Day, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
• Gift vouchers available in the online shop:
  • Voucher Cadou FILM 2D / 2D FILM Gift Voucher (2 tickets): the gift voucher can be redeemed for 2 film tickets to any 2D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below, is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network and can be redeemed online or at the box office. The voucher can also be used for 3D, IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings at an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example. This voucher can only be purchased online.
  • Voucher Cadou FILM 3D / 3D FILM GIFT VOUCHER (2 tickets): the gift voucher can be redeemed for 2 film tickets to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. The gift voucher is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network and can be redeemed online or at the box office. The voucher can also be used for IMAX, 4DX and VIP screening at an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events, such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example. This voucher can only be purchased online.

Tickets can be redeemed online or at the ticket offices. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example. This voucher can only be purchased online.
  • Voucher 4DX 3D / 4DX 3D voucher (2 4DX 3D tickets): the gift voucher can be exchanged for 2 4DX tickets to any 2D or 3D screenings from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in the 4DX theatres of Cinema City Mega Mall Bucharest, Timișoara Shopping City, Brăila, Constanta City Park, Brașov and Cluj Iulius. Tickets can be redeemed online or at the ticket offices. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. 2. GIFT VOUCHERS - REGION 2 (CLUJ IULIUS, IAȘI, TIMIȘOARA)

  • Voucher Cadou FILM 2D / Gift Voucher 2D FILM (1 ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for a movie ticket to any 2D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network, except for cinemas in Bucharest and can be redeemed at the ticket offices or online. The voucher can also be used for 3D, IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings, paying an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher Cadou FILM 3D / 3D FILM GIFT VOUCHER (1 ticket): The gift voucher can be exchanged for a film ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the limitations below. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. The gift voucher is valid for 6 months from the acquisition date throughout the Cinema City network, excluding cinemas in Bucharest, and can be redeemed at the ticket offices or online. The voucher can also be used for IMAX, 4DX and VIP screenings, paying an additional cost depending on the selected format. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events, such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.

  • Voucher IMAX 3D / IMAX 3D voucher (1 IMAX 3D ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for an IMAX ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in the IMAX theatre in Timisoara Shopping City. Tickets can be redeemed at ticket offices or online. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher 4DX 3D / 4DX 3D voucher (1 4DX 3D ticket): the gift voucher can be exchanged for a 4DX ticket to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in 4DX theatres in Timisoara Shopping City, Braila, Constanta City Park, Brasov and Cluj Iulius. The ticket can be redeemed at ticket offices or online. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.
  • Voucher VIP 3D / 3D VIP Voucher (2 3D VIP tickets): the gift voucher can be exchanged for 2 VIP tickets to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in the Timisoara Iulius VIP Hall program. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. Access to the VIP lounges is 30 minutes before the start of the screenings and includes VIP service for 2 people. For details of the all inclusive menu, please visit the VIP section of the Website. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Valentine's Day, Woman's Day, Kids Day, Halloween Day, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.

Tickets can be redeemed online or at the box office. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Film Marathons and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example. This voucher can only be purchased online.
  • Voucher 4DX 3D / 4DX 3D voucher (2 4DX 3D tickets): the gift voucher can be exchanged for 2 4DX tickets to any 2D or 3D screening, from Monday to Sunday, with the limitations below, available 6 months from the acquisition date in 4DX theatres in Timisoara Shopping City, Braila, Constanta City Park, Brasov and Cluj Iulius. If you opt for a 3D screening, the cost of the 3D service (glasses) is included in the price. Access to the VIP lounges is 30 minutes before the start of the screenings and includes VIP service for 2 people. For details on the all inclusive menu, please visit the VIP section of the Website. This voucher cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Valentine's Day, Woman's Day, Kids Day, Halloween Day, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.

3. GIFT VOUCHERS - REGION 3 (COUNTRY)

• Gift vouchers - available at ticket offices in the network

In the online shop you will find all the products available on offer. In order to select the right voucher, they include in the name:

(ii) format (2D/3D/4DX/ IMAX/ VIP) plus menu option (only available in DUET voucher (2X 3D tickets + Duet popcorn menu);

(iii) the number of tickets included in the voucher;

(iv) the price of each voucher.

You can choose to purchase 1 or more gift vouchers of the same type in one transaction. If you wish to purchase more than one type of voucher, multiple transactions are required. Payment will be made via the PayU platform and you will receive an email confirmation from PayU for the transaction and from Cinema City for the order placement. In this e-mail you will also receive the e-voucher, which can be given as a gift in electronic or physical format (printed by you). The code written on the voucher gives the user the right to claim the voucher both in cinemas and online.

CLAIMING VOUCHERS IN CINEMAS OR ONLINE

Each voucher purchased can be exchanged into a ticket(s) online on our website or at the ticket offices using the voucher code.

For online redemption, after selecting the desired film, the voucher can be used as a payment method by entering the code in the dedicated field on the payment completion page.
On the back of the Gift Voucher are clearly specified the movie tickets and services that can be redeemed in Cinema City cinemas or on the Website when using the Gift Voucher.

Gift Vouchers cannot be combined with other promotional offers available in Cinema City cinemas, unless the rules of the promotions state otherwise.

The User has the right to upgrade the 2D and/or 3D Gift Voucher with an additional payment to purchase a ticket for a film format different from the one indicated on the Gift Voucher, according to the price list available in the cinemas and on the Website. However, as mentioned above, Gift Vouchers cannot be used to purchase tickets for screenings and special events such as Ladies Night, Comedy Night, Movie Marathons, Valentine's Day, Woman's Day, Kids Day, Halloween Day and/or Pre-premiers, etc. This is an enumeration by way of example.

The possibility to permanently check the benefits provided by the Gift Voucher by accessing the "CHECK DETAILS" option (also called Check balance).

The customer has the possibility to permanently check online, in the "Check balance" step of the Gift Vouchers page:

• validity period of the voucher;

• Cinemas where the voucher can be used.

RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS:

The gift voucher is a bearer document, and the User is solely responsible for its use. Cinema City will not replace it in case of theft, loss, wandering or damage.

The User is required to submit the Gift Voucher at the cinema box office in order to receive the ticket for the performance desired by the User.

The User has the option to check the details of the voucher purchased online at any time, based on the unique code printed on the voucher.

The User of the voucher has the right to transfer it free of charge to a third party
When transferring the Voucher to a third party, the User of the voucher is obliged to inform the subsequent user on the terms of use of the voucher specified in these regulations
Cinema City does not accept the return of vouchers. It is not possible to exchange all or part of the voucher into cash or to issue a duplicate. It is not possible to purchase other products of similar value in the cinema, each voucher includes the products detailed above. 
Extending the validity period of the vouchers is not possible.
Cinema City is not responsible for lost, destroyed or stolen vouchers. If the voucher is lost, a duplicate will not be issued.
