EFFECT OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3. These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC" or "Terms and Conditions") are general rules governing the relationship between Cinema City and all its customers in connection with the movie viewing service and food service and are applicable in all multiplexes operated by Cinema City. The current version of the Terms and Conditions is published on the website www.cinemacity.ro ("Website") and placed at the ticket offices of all multiplex cinemas, available to customers. The Company reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time, and the amendments shall take effect upon publication of the amended Terms and Conditions on the Website and their placement in multiplexes at the ticket offices for customers to view. Before purchasing a ticket for a movie screening or using any service offered by Cinema City, customers are advised to read, check, and familiarize themselves with these GTC . Failure to consult the Terms and Conditions by users cannot justify claims against Cinema City regarding lack of information about the content of these terms .
4. By purchasing a ticket to see a film, the customer agrees to comply with the provisions of these GTC . The Terms and Conditions also include the Terms and Conditions for online ticket sales, the Terms and Conditions for VIP services, the Terms and Conditions for gift vouchers, the Terms and Conditions for 4DX cinemas, and the Privacy Policy.
5. Please note that when purchasing tickets online, by checking the acceptance button on the website, the customer confirms that they have carefully read the GTC , understood their content, accepts them, and undertakes to purchase tickets in accordance with and in compliance with these rules.
6 . By purchasing tickets at the ticket offices, the customer confirms that they have carefully read the GTC available at the ticket offices, understood their content, accepted them, and agreed to purchase tickets in accordance with and in compliance with these rules.
7. By purchasing tickets at ticket machines, upon completion of the ticket purchase, the customer confirms that they have carefully read the available GTC, understood their content, accepted them, and agree to purchase tickets in accordance with and in compliance with these rules.
8. The sale of tickets (and, if applicable, 3D glasses and/or food and beverages) is subject to availability. Cinema City does not guarantee and cannot be held responsible if tickets (and, if applicable, 3D glasses and/or food and beverages) are not available for a specific screening.
9. It is the customer's responsibility to check that the details on the tickets purchased are correct and match the desired screening (location, date and time of the desired film, as well as the selected seat), as Cinema City is not obliged to correct customer errors after the ticket has been purchased. Unless expressly stated otherwise in GTC, incorrect tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
10. Cinema City is not responsible for information displayed at its locations by third parties. Although it makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Cinema City does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or timeliness of data provided by third parties.
11 . The trademarks and logos displayed on the S website and in/on cinemas are owned by Cinema City or third parties. The customer is not permitted to use these trademarks and logos without the written consent of Cinema City or the third-party owners. Misuse of these trademarks and logos constitutes copyright infringement and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
TICKETS AND PRICES
12 . Watching movies is a service offered by Cinema City for a fee, and customers must purchase a ticket to use it, unless otherwise provided in these GTC. Ticket prices at Cinema City Romania include VAT ( 21%), the Romanian Red Cross contribution (1%), and the cinema stamp duty (2%). All ticket prices are in lei . The prices displayed are the final ticket prices, including all taxes and fees, except for online tickets, to which an administrative fee for online purchases is added - which will be detailed in the Terms and Conditions of Online Purchase.
13 . The customer declares and guarantees that any tickets or 3D glasses purchased are for personal use only and are not part of any form of commercial activity and will not be resold or used for commercial purposes . Tickets or 3D glasses may not be sold/resold by the customer, except in cases where the Company has expressly agreed. The same applies to vouchers, food, drinks, and/or other forms of access codes issued by Cinema City Romania as part of the services they provide to customers.
14 . Access to the cinema halls will be allowed by Cinema City exclusively based on:
• tickets purchased at the ticket offices of multiplex cinemas;
• iQR codes on electronic tickets attached to the confirmation email received for online purchases through the "Electronic Ticket" option and presented on a phone or other electronic device;
• issued by tickets machines.
15 . Ticket prices may vary between different films screened and/or depending on the category of seats chosen.
The following preferred seating zones system is applicable in all Cinema City locations, excepting Brașov and Târgu Mureș.
Thus, ticket prices vary depending on the area chosen by the customer, namely Area A, Area B, and Area C. Area C is the standard area, located in front of the screen, where a standard rate applies. Zone A includes seats located at the top of the theater, for which the price is higher due to the perspective and visual experience offered. Zone B includes seats placed in the center of the theater, for which the price is higher, as they are in the optimal viewing position.
This price differentiation reflects the position and comfort offered by each zone in relation to the screen, allowing customers to choose the option that best suits their preferences and budget.
Also, within the Cinema City Iasi Iulius Mall, Zone A has been replaced by the Comfort Zone. Zone C is always located in front of the Comfort Zone, while Zone B is always behind it. Comfort zones are part of the regular 2D/3D halls, with two dedicated rows in each of the five halls where the regular programs take place.
Current ticket prices are listed on the S website, in the "Summary and prices" section for each multiplex, and are clearly displayed at the ticket offices of each multiplex. All prices include value added tax. Ticket prices may be changed by the Company at any time, provided that the new prices are listed on the website, in the "Summary and Prices" section for each multiplex, and displayed prominently at the ticket offices of each multiplex, available to customers.
16 . Once issued, the ticket cannot be changed or replaced for another screening or film, and the price indicated on the ticket will not be refunded, except in the cases expressly provided for in the General Terms and Conditions . In this regard, we ask customers to be diligent when purchasing tickets and to consider in advance the movie, the day and time of the desired viewing, and the seats in the cinema they wish to use, as well as the number and type of tickets they are willing to purchase. After choosing the movie, viewing time, number and type of tickets, and seats, you have the right to check the accuracy of your selection and ask the cashiers to display the complete details of your order on the screen. If you have any objections, please report them immediately to the cashiers so that they can be corrected. Once tickets have been issued, they cannot be changed, replaced, or returned. When purchasing tickets online, after selecting the movie, screening time, number and type of tickets, and seats, we recommend that you check that your selection has been recorded correctly, as once tickets have been issued, they cannot be changed, replaced, or returned. The Customer is required to collect the voucher/ticket within a maximum of 30 days from the date on which they were informed by Cinema City via email, message, or any other communication channel agreed upon by the parties, in accordance with Cinema City's instructions.
